For many a year, Kermit Ruffins has been a reliable crowd-puller and pleaser in swinging clubs around town. Now he's opened a club of his own, dedicated to a subject dear to his heart: New Orleans musicians and their blues, jazz and swing traditions. This is a cool little haunt, located in the historic, earthy Treme district. Some of the best talent around plays Ruffins' stage and that, of course, includes Kermit himself from time to time.
