"If you weren't at the Players Club you missed the best comedy
in Dallas this Saturday night when Juan Villareal blasted the
stage with an all star performance. The only way to describe
Juan's comedy is ultra high energy headliner with a Tex-Mex
twist that's 'real'. What a night! Laugh after laugh
kept the audience bent one way or the other. He painted lightning
fast verbal pictures so crystal clear you were laughing before
he delivered the main joke as he explained the
differences between 'Wetbacks' and 'Mexicans'. Something about
socks and prom dresses... Then his midget (ok little people)
and cellphone routine took out the front row. It was all pro
but even that wasn't his best stuff... Oxygen was in short
supply when Juan explained what it meant to be poor,
not broke but 'really poor'. Juan delivered a recordbook writing,
classic, Comedy Hall of Fame entry when he explained the relation
between being poor and the light company's cut-off policy regarding
candles. You otta pay for the ticket just to hear that one alone,
promise. It's that good! Thanks to comedian/promoter Los Codie,
Dallas had a Juan Villareal comedy night to remember as Juan
scamppered across the stage chasing Flying Texas Cockroaches
and his house guest on $25 power bars... Time to put the
The Players Club on the map as a great comedy venue! It was the
perfect host for a packed house and a great place to get a
'close to the comic' seat, dinner and a drink, easily a match
for any Dallas area comedy venue. Plan on a great comedy
evening any evening you get a chance to spend with

talent next trip he makes to Dallas. Hope they call me first
