Who is CedMan? He’s a man with a vast education. He attended 7 junior colleges and 6 universities across the country. He majored in marketing and six hours short from getting a degree he decided stand-up was his career. He never looked back. He was inspired by seeing a local Dallas comic do horribly. In classic CedMan style, he quotes, “ I can do that bad.”
So who is CedMan? Being raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, he is a soldier to the Louisiana spirit of fun. “If it’s funny, let’s do it!!” That explains why his style of comedic intrigue runs the gamut. He speaks on issues of race, health, sex, and politics. He is even versed in religion. You could invite him to a church picnic, but by all means PRAY FIRST. From DC to the Hollywood Improv, CJ Carter has garnered laughter on stages with some of the best comedic talents in the country. Sharing stages with Steve Harvey, Rickey Smiley, and George Wallace.
So who is CedMan? At 6’7” you can hardly say his presence is unassuming but he is plain and simple good people. He is simply funny, honest, and he says what people are thinking….with their inside voices. Dale Regan, Hope Flood, and Guy Tory have all been on a nice warm CedMan stage. CedMan is unique because he treats all stages the same. He has performed in a barn and the Big Apple, but it has been and always is about the crowd all the time. His unbeatable timing sets him up with the greats and apart from the rest. He professes to be “The Ignant Part of the Show.” The truth is CedMan IS the show. So who is CedMan?
